No Boxing No Life at SeaWorld San Diego Case Study
BOXING AT SEAWORLD SAN DIEGO.
Turning an unexpected destination into a platform for professional boxing, emerging talent and cross-border media.
NAUTILUS AMPHITHEATER
SEAWORLD SAN DIEGO · SAN DIEGO, CA
A FIRST FOR SEAWORLD SAN DIEGO.
UND1SPTD helped position and market a historic professional boxing event at SeaWorld San Diego, connecting an unconventional live-event setting with developing fighters, media, local audiences and the broader San Diego–Tijuana boxing community.
TAKE BOXING SOMEWHERE UNEXPECTED.
Professional boxing traditionally lives inside arenas, casinos and established fight venues. SeaWorld San Diego created an opportunity to put the sport in an entirely different environment — and make the destination part of the story.
The Nautilus Amphitheater became the setting for the first professional boxing event in SeaWorld San Diego’s history. The project connected the energy of live boxing with a recognizable Southern California entertainment destination, creating a distinctive experience for fighters, audiences, media and partners. Rather than treating the venue as a backdrop, the campaign used the unusual setting as part of the event’s identity — helping the card stand apart in a crowded Southern California sports and entertainment market.
BUILD MORE THAN A FIGHT CARD.
EVENT STRATEGY
Helped position the event around a larger story: professional boxing entering SeaWorld San Diego for the first time and creating a new platform for emerging talent.
MEDIA + PR
Developed event narratives, media positioning and promotional storytelling designed to generate interest beyond traditional boxing audiences.
ATHLETE MARKETING
Built promotional storytelling around developing fighters, helping audiences connect with the people, personalities and ambitions behind the matchups.
CONTENT
Created and coordinated digital, social, photo and video content designed to extend the life of the event before, during and after fight night.
PARTNERSHIPS
Developed opportunities for businesses and partners to participate through event visibility, athlete relationships, hospitality, media and content.
AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT
Connected the event with San Diego’s boxing community, the cross-border Southern California/Baja audience and UND1SPTD’s broader digital ecosystem.
ONE EVENT. MULTIPLE AUDIENCES.
The physical event was only one part of the opportunity. Fight night connected live audiences in San Diego with television distribution, independent media coverage, social content and athlete channels — allowing the story to travel far beyond the Nautilus Amphitheater.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE MOMENT.

THE STORY TRAVELED.
PROOF BEYOND FIGHT NIGHT.
MEDIA × EXPERIENCE.
SeaWorld San Diego demonstrated the UND1SPTD model in action: connect an unexpected live experience with athletes, media, partners and community, then create value that continues after the event ends. The fight was one night. The relationships, stories, content and opportunities built around it created the larger platform.
