Moreno Valley’s amateur boxing scene will be in the spotlight on Sunday, October 11, when United Boxing Academy hosts its Future Champions Amateur Boxing Show at 12125 Day St., Moreno Valley, California 92557.

The event is advertised as a USA Boxing-sanctioned amateur boxing show featuring 19 fights.

Weigh-ins are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., doors open at 12:00 p.m., and the first fight is scheduled for 1:00 p.m..

Admission is listed at $20 in presale and $30 at the front door.

The Future of Boxing Starts at Shows Like This

Before the television dates, championship belts, packed arenas and major promotional contracts, there are amateur gyms and local fight cards.
