SAN ANTONIO, TX — Undefeated lightweight prospect Deric “Scooter” Davis officially made weight Friday ahead of his eight-round showdown against Joaquin Faccio at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Davis tipped the scales at 134.8 pounds, while Faccio registered 134.3 pounds, confirming both fighters are within the lightweight division’s 135-pound limit for their Saturday, October 24 contest.

The matchup will be featured on the Emanuel Navarrete versus O’Shaquie Foster championship card, with coverage scheduled to stream live on DAZN.

Scooter Davis Continues His Undefeated Run

Davis (12-0, 10 KOs) enters Saturday’s contest looking to extend his unbeaten record and secure the 13th victory of his professional career.

The Fort Washington, Maryland, lightweight has established himself as an exciting young prospect, combining explosive punching power with the technical development needed to navigate increasingly competitive opposition.

Having secured stoppage victories in 10 of his first 12 professional appearances, Davis has demonstrated an ability to finish fights. Saturday presents another opportunity to showcase the full range of his boxing skills.

A Test Against Experienced Opposition

Standing opposite Davis will be Joaquin Faccio, an experienced professional looking to disrupt the young prospect’s momentum.

For Davis, the challenge goes beyond maintaining an undefeated record. As he continues climbing the lightweight rankings, each contest provides an opportunity to sharpen his ring intelligence, control distance and demonstrate the discipline needed to compete against higher-level opposition.

Twelve wins. Ten knockouts. And another opportunity for Scooter Davis to announce himself on a major boxing stage.

A National Stage in San Antonio

Saturday’s fight card will feature Emanuel Navarrete and O’Shaquie Foster in a unified WBO, IBF and WBC super featherweight championship matchup.

Both championship headliners successfully made weight Friday, with Navarrete registering 130 pounds and Foster coming in at 129.8 pounds.

Frank Martin and Tarik Zaina also made weight at 139.5 pounds apiece for their 10-round super lightweight showdown.

For Davis, the opportunity to compete on a major card alongside established championship talent provides valuable exposure as he continues building his professional career.

The weigh-in is complete. Saturday night, Davis will look to make his performance speak just as loudly as his undefeated record.
